I am not big on New Year’s resolutions. Just because the clock strikes midnight it doesn’t mean I will become a different person with a different attitude and a lot more energy. I think people who make resolutions are awesome. They are just not my thing.
I choose to take everything one day and to put it in traveling terminology one mile at a time. My son gave me this awesome planner for Christmas. It’s called the Master Plan. I know the Master Planner so no matter what I write on that calendar, He is in control of what will happen in 2019.
I write mostly in pencil because I know how quickly things can change. My goals for this year are my goals every day—to love God, love people and work hard. Everything else seems to fall into place when I do those three things.
We are still planning our 2019 calendar. I will be concentrating more on my freelance writing business in January but we may still sneak a trip in during that time. We have a trip planned to some middle Georgia destinations in March. And we are still planning the rest of 2019.
Do you have plans for 2019? What are your resolutions? I would love to hear from you.
